In 2018, Tim became the first non-Jesuit President of St Xavier High School (Cincinnati, OH). St. X has more than 1,400 students and 120 full-time faculty members. For the previous 23 years, Tim was principal of St. Ignatius Elementary School. Tim serves on the boards of directors of Xavier University, CISE and Ruah Woods. He previously served on the board of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) and is a past president of the NCEA Department of Elementary School Executive Committee. Tim has presented for NCEA, Alliance for Catholic Educators (ACE) at the University of Notre Dame and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. He has also taught at the Archdiocese of Cincinnati New Principals Academy and at Xavier University. Tim is Co-founder of Optim-ALL Services, Inc., whose mission is to empower non-public schools to successfully engage exceptional learners. Tim was also a leader on the Archdiocese of Cincinnati School of Faith initiative.
Tim is married to Becky who is a recently retired Catholic school librarian. Three of their four children work in Catholic schools. The fourth is a family doctor. Tim and Becky have five grandchildren.
