While many companies struggle to offer compelling content on their websites, Hixson Architecture, Engineering, Interiors faced the opposite challenge — its website featured so many thought leadership pieces and images that it had become difficult for visitors to navigate and stay current. Hixson charged Vehr with designing, copywriting and developing a mobile-friendly website that tied its diverse practice areas together seamlessly.
Hixson wanted to make it easy for prospective and current clients to read and navigate its case studies and related expert advice articles, while also highlighting its beautiful project photography and incorporating relevant calls to action.
Inspired by the visuals found in architecture and design publications, Hixson’s new website tells its story through large-scale, vibrant images. A refreshed color palette and ample white space improve readability, and a revised site map makes it easy for prospects or potential employees to intuitively find the information they need. With an easy-to-use content management system, Hixson can quickly add new content — including regular blog posts — as needed to keep visitors coming back.
