Our team is growing, and we’re excited to welcome Lewis Fugeman as the newest member of the Vehr team. Lewis joins us as an account coordinator. Get to know Lewis below, in his own words:
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to meet up with my close friends and eat great food, go to live shows, museums, go visit grandparents, run a few miles a week—typical 26-year-old stuff.
Describe yourself in three words.
Curious, creative, adaptable
What does ‘integrated marketing’ mean to you?
The term “Integrated” is a movement across all fields that I’m here for. It’s important to understand that a winning marketing strategy involves a sum-of-all-parts approach, and placing yourself in the customer’s seat at every process.
What personality characteristics are most important in order to be successful in our field?
Communications is all about understanding people and behavior. Having an adaptable personality and emotional IQ are things that certainly help move relationships in the right direction. Similarly, creativity and writing skills are imperative to success.
What’s the most recent book you’ve read/podcast you’ve listened to/movie or show that you’ve seen?
I’m almost finished with “When You Are Engulfed in Flames.” David Sedaris weaves some of the most important life lessons into hilarious accounts of his life. He’s fantastic at making you feel like his memories are yours, too.
What’s your favorite part of Cincinnati?
I grew into an adult in Clifton, so it will always be special to me. The respect this city holds for its history is inspirational, and it’s rare for cities to have such in-tact historical neighborhoods. I’m thankful we do.
Where’d you go to college and what was your major?
I studied public relations and journalism at Northern Kentucky University.
What’s your favorite social media channel?
Instagram. It’s the best place for discovering hysterically funny people, building a highly engaging brand, and sharing your life with friends. It has all my favorite features other platforms have.
Any other talents we should know about?
My talent for guessing what perfume you’re wearing is unmatched!
What’s one app you can’t live without?
I hate to admit it, but, Yelp. I am just not brave enough to risk my hard-earned money when I may not have to!
What media outlets do you follow on a regular basis? Why those ones?
I love Google News because it gives you personalized headlines. For more investigative stuff, The Guardian is my first choice. NPR is also certainly a daily perusal of mine.
