Vehr Communications is proud to announce that Michael Perry, counselor and partner, has been inducted into the University of Cincinnati Department of Journalism Hall of Fame.
Michael was recognized with fellow 2018 hall of fame inductee Kathy Y. Wilson on Monday, March 26, 2018, at the department’s annual awards ceremony. Michael joins other distinguished journalists in UC’s Hall of Fame, such as Cliff Radel of The Cincinnati Enquirer, the late Jim Knippenberg of The Enquirer, and longtime WCPO sports anchor and columnist Dennis Janson.
“Michael’s dedication and passion for storytelling is evident,” said Vehr Communications CEO Nick Vehr. “From his impressive career at The Cincinnati Enquirer, to the books he has authored and published, to the breadth and depth of experience he brings to his work at Vehr that ultimately helps us better serve clients, Michael elevates the quality
of everything he touches.”
A 1984 UC alumnus, Michael is also passionate about cultivating the next generation of talent. He is a dedicated mentor for his Vehr colleagues, teaches as an adjunct instructor for the UC department of journalism, and serves as the professional editorial advisor and consultant for The News Record, UC’s independent student news media.
From all of us at Vehr Communications, congratulations, Michael!
