About the Panoramic Photography
We are pleased that Tom Schiff has allowed us to use his exceptional panoramic photography of Cincinnati images on our Web site. His photographs reflect our pride in Cincinnati and our ability to look at a situation from all angles – a 360° perspective. In appreciation for the use of these photographs, Vehr Communications, LLC has made a contribution to the Wellness Community.

About the Photographer - Thomas R. Schiff

Tom is a fine art photographer, a collector of photography, an insurance executive and a patron of the arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. A graduate of Ohio University, he studied photography with Clarence White, Jr. and Arnold Gasson. His early photography featured black and white images focused on architectural detail, storefront facades and windows. In his journey to find a new way to express his artistic vision, Tom turned to panoramic images. Since 1994 he has worked with a Hulcherama 360° panoramic camera, traveling the United States in search of inspiring subjects. Today, his work resides in a number of permanent collection and historical societies.

Tom has previously published four books showcasing his full-color, panoramic photographs: Panoramic Cincinnati (1999, published by Lightborne Publications in conjunction with the Wellness Community), Panoramic Ohio (2002, published by the Cincinnati Art Museum), Panoramic Parks (2005, published by the Cincinnati Parks Board), and Frank Lloyd Wright Panoramic Postcards (2007, published by Lightborne Publications in partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust). Panoramic Ohio accompanied a touring exhibition of the same name which commemorated the 2003 Bicentennial of the State of Ohio. Later this year his photographs of Las Vegas will be released in a collection entitled Vegas 360°. His photographs have been exhibited in galleries and museums both nationally and internationally.
